It also did not go down while disbanding the now-ruined levy. Granted its difficult with natural growth and migration but 70k going down to 20k never saw the pop go down. I'm curious to hear thoughts on this in light of how levies are raised now and general thoughts on cultural integration now. Tried stationing a 70k levy in a province to attrition to death and I saw no pop decrease for the province population. True Romans now make up about 35% of my Republic, while Sabellians are a full 25%, with the rest being divided amongst Lucanians, Umbrians, Messapians and the like.none of them making up more than 10%. but now with levies being tied to integration, I'm very much wondering about the validity of going for a shorter term benefit and just granting citizenship to the 200 or so Sabellians living in my burgeoning Republic. Usually I'd try to assimilate cultures in my previous games. and after having conquered a few neighbours, one of the changes to the game really struck me for the first time: Cultural Integration. I decided to kick off a new Rome campaign. I'm genuinely excited to see where they go from here, and I can't say that I've really felt that way about the game before. I have to say, it does play very differently, and it's a much more enjoyable experience. Hopefully you're enjoying 2.0 as much as I am.
