A great taste of the South that will stick with me. ![]() All-in-all I left satisfied, and a little sad that I don't have a Biscuit Head back home in nearby Wilmington or Philadelphia. They could have been enjoyed without any toppings for their own goodness. The in-house coffee offerings were great, and they offered me a to-go cup to carry more out with me. The real truth of the matter was that the biscuits needed nothing. I tried The Hulk, Ring of Fire, but my favorite was the banana buffalo which I had in conjunction with my fried chicken gravy. And, too, plenty of hot sauces on the table. The many more elaborate biscuit presentations include an Asheville Benedict, a biscuit brisket, a fried catfish biscuit, and breakfast sandwich biscuits. I loved the watermelon Basil jam and the cayenne pepper marmalade. Besides the gravies, there was a jam and butter bar. Why not? If we went into cardiac arrest, we were surrounded by two hospitals. My husband got the sausage gravy and we shared an order of the bacon of the day which was apple jalapeno. Line moved quickly and someone came out to let us know the process. Arrived right around 9 am on a Friday morning and was surprised to see a line out the door. Click to read my full review of Biscuit Head. Eat there or get it to go, you wont regret your decision. This restaurant has multiple locations and never fails to disappoint. The gravy of the day was cajun catfish and there were many vegetarian options as well. Visiting Asheville and found Biscuit head as highly rated on Yelp so I knew we had to try it. If you are looking for the best breakfast in Asheville, look no further than Biscuit Head. I got the fried chicken, sausage, and red eye. It was almost painful to narrow down the selection of gravies down to three. But this is the kind of food and service that can stand on its own without the ambiance. There is a little of church (a pew along a long table) and grandma's kitchen thrown in for kitschy fun. ![]() The tables are either slices of tree trunks or terrariums made of old windows. The decor of the Biltmore location is schoolhouse (the chairs) meets woodlands. This place is all about the buscuit-as big as a cat's head. ![]() On a recommendation from a friend, we stopped for breakfast at Buscuit Head (Biltmore Location in Doctor's Park) on our way to visit Biltmore for the day. Best breakfast of our Nashville-Asheville Roadtrip. This was recommended and I was so excited to see they offered gf biscuits so I ordered an egg, cheese and bacon biscuit sandwich, however I was disappointed when I tasted them. Biscuit Head || The Best Breakfast in.Full-Time RV Life || Staying Connected and Happy o.If you've been, tell me your fave! I really liked the sour cherry!! Seriously, the biscuits are so big there will be plenty left on your plate to try every jelly option Biscuit Head has to offer. The jelly bar is perfect, because you can either add the jelly to your sandwich while you eat (which we did), but it also makes a great addition to the top of the biscuit that you still have left, once you finish your sandwich. Also, gummy worm butter?! Need I say more?! They had such unique options to choose from that I didn't even know where to start, so I just grabbed the little cups and sampled to my hearts content. When Babe came over to ask me "did you see the jelly bar?" I ran over and my eyes about popped out of my head! Biscuit Head has so many jelly and jam options (made fresh) to choose from, as well as different flavored butters and local honey! Honey is my jam and I loved being able to try each flavor. ![]() Tucked in the back corner of the restaurant is a jelly bar that will fulfill all of your jelly-loving dreams! I actually hadn't seen it at first, since I was too busy obsessing over how cute everything was (from our table marker to the cute desks near the table we snagged).
